My work involves painting paper (using mainly acrylics) and then cutting and weaving them to create my intricate paper-woven pictures.

The weaving process
To make the "De La Warr Pavilion" I produced a line drawing from which I cut
a stencil. I used this to produce two pictures of
the Pavilion; one in blues
and oranges, the other in pinks and greens.
Each picture was cut into varying widths, strips and angles and then woven together - one wrong cut and I have to start again!
